Eshe is a judge for Bellydance Norway’s The Elements project.

You could win $100USD and fabulous prizes with teachers of your choice for just 1 minute of dance.

I was honored to be invited to perform and judge this project.

Video competitions are a great way to gently enter the competition scene (if that’s your desire). No one knows except the judges! You can film & create at your own pace & the BEST thing (IMO) is that you get to keep all of the progress. No matter how you placed, you retain your growth. You stood up for yourself and said THIS IS ME and that’s brave and amazing.

Meeting Jagmeet Singh! Concession BIA

I was thrilled to meet with Jagmeet Singh this week! I am the chair of the Concession Street BIA (Business Improvement Area). We met with Jagmeet & discussed the struggles of small business owners, as well as concerns for the planet & community. We also talked about issues that are near & dear to me like Land Back, trans rights, BLM, support for marginalized & vulnerable workers.

Definitely a highlight as Chair of the board! I spend a lot of time thinking about and putting in to action ways to make our street more connected, safer, super fabulous and exciting! It was really exciting to meet someone who cares so much and is doing so much amazing work.

Just a reminder – no BIA community meeting in August we’ll be back at 9AM on the 3rd Thursday of September!

Eshe auditioned and was cast in Jillina’s Bellydance Evolution. She was honored to perform alongside these incredible artists hailing from Chile, Mexico, Korea, Peru, Denmark, Hungary, Czech Republic, Russia, Ukraine, and all over the States. They were the debut cast for “The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.”
