Uptown Bunny Hop & Seek on Concession, Hamilton

We are setting up for Saturday’s Uptown Bunny Hop & Seek on Concession Street in Hamilton!

My kids are so excited! We’ll be giving out chocolate eggs, Easter candy, bubbles & stickers. My hope is there is at least 1 treat every child can enjoy!

We are also having a selfie contest! And we have fun props you can use (if you like).

At 10:45-11:45 Eshe will be sharing a FREE Bellydance Basics class. Free for new & existing students. No strings. No experience necessary. Just come & have fun with us.

The Concession BIA at 534 Concession is giving out free bunny ears to the first 100 kids. The Bunny Hop runs 10AM to 3PM from Upper Wentworth to Poplar. Lots of stores will be sharing goodies. We are just beyond the main action (but worth the trip!)

Mahasti is now at 422 Concession.

Double KPOP Fun tonight in Hamilton

Meet our fab kpop specialist Faith 💙 This Thurs 3/29 she’ll be teaching both our 7PM & 8:05PM classes sharing her brand new choreography to Red Velvet’s “Zoo” 🐅 This is the last week of the session to join her class! Take 1 or both.
Her class is a fun mix of Bellydance & Kpop. Kpop (Korean pop music) dance is a mixture of hip hop, modern, urban & theatrical styles. (Just like most pop dances.) We often learn signature steps as well as Faith’s unique creations. Similar to our other choreography classes 6 months of Bellydance experience is recommended before joining (although not enforced) 😊
Let us know if you have any other questions! By request in our May session Faith will be pulling double duty & teaching on Saturdays too 💙

Our Tuesday night class at the HPL on Concession was totally full so they added a 2nd class this Thursday 6:30-7:30PM.  Free! Please contact them to register.

Saturday as part of the Concession Street Uptown Bunny Hop & Seek we’ll be offering a free bellydance basics class at Mahasti! Join us 10:45-11:45AM for a beginner lesson.  We’ll also have treats for the kids (chocolates, candy and non-food treats).

We’re now located at 422 Concession, Hamilton, Ontario.

From 3/26 we are moving to the mountain.  Our new address will be 422 Concession Street, Hamilton.

To celebrate with everyone at the Bunny Hop & Seek we’ll be offering a free bellydance class Sat 3/31 10:45-11:45AM.  No experience necessary.  This will be a great class for beginners to come to with options given to experienced dancers to turn up the volume!

From the Concession BIA:

“Saturday March 31st, 2018 between 10am – 3pm.

​”We invite families to come out with the kids for a chocolate Easter Egg Collection from our business storefronts (between Upper Wentworth and Poplar Street). The FIRST 100 children will receive FREE bunny ears!

“Stop by the BIA office at 534 Concession to pick yours up while they last! Then continue along Concession and visit our fabulous stores for more chocolate treats!

“We will also be hosting a HOP & SEEK game! Find the cute stuffed bunny (hidden within some of our storefronts), snap a pic and post on social media using the hashtag #UptownBunnyHop for a chance to win a gift basket (valued at $100)
donated by businesses along the street!

“Draws will take place on Monday April 9th when all the winners will be announced through social media.

​”We will also be inviting local artisanal vendors to join us and we will host a live music performance just outside of Candi Werx’s at 554 Concession Street (between 11am and 2pm).

Did you hear that we are moving from 3/26?

We are so excited to be joining the Concession Street family & we’ll be taking part in a lot of the community initiatives.  We’ll be running the Sidewalk Sounds Bellydance Stage at the old RBC (555 Concession Street, Hamilton) from 7-9PM on the 3rd Friday from May to September.

Warm summer evenings, spectacular sunsets off the mountain brow, family friendly community inviting everyone to come out and enjoy FREE live music performances from Hamilton’s music scene! Concession Street’s third annual SIDEWALK SOUNDS – we invite you to stroll our sidewalks, browse the amazing collection of local Hamilton vendors and rediscover the fabulous businesses and services that make up our shopping corridor on Concession Street.
