Cairo’s Jewels BellyDance is super excited to host the beautiful Eshe from Mahasti, the Bellydance Emporium located in Hamilton.
We will spend the day exploring The realm of Turkish Bellydance.
Eshe is the director & owner of Mahasti – The Bellydance Emporium. Born and raised in Hamilton, Eshe has been bellydancing since 2002. She’s trained extensively in Canada, Japan, Egypt, and Turkey. And she’s performed in Japan, Turkey, South Korea, Australia, Malaysia, America, Indonesia and of course Canada.

⭐Turkish Roman
We’ll cover history, the 9/8 rhythm, footwork patterns, powerful hip layers as well as signature gestures in this class. Then we’ll string it all together in a feisty choreography.

⭐Turkish Oryantal
How to adapt + incorporate the mother dance (Roman) into Bellydance. We’ll be using veil + have the option of adding zils (sagat, finger cymbals). Let’s play with this dramatic + romantic dance.
